Is there anybody here? – Lance Appleton and the Lord’s Band (Live)
Dedicated to a dear friend Lance Appleton, a mighty warrior for Jesus who fought the good fight. He made it his life to worship Jesus, and this is a song he played with friends in the Lord, not intending this to be published, but the song is a great one deserving to be shared, glory be to the God on high!

Wow, love it, The Lord’s Band! What an anointed group! This song was just one of a number of songs that Jeff had copies of on tapes from Lance, he then took these recordings and put them on CDs. Anyone who hears this music should appreciate the musician and man of God that Lance was. Grateful for this website so the legacy of Lance Appleton continues.
praise GOD what a lovely heartfelt music and people you all are, MR LANCE 🙂 you made IT 🙂 you really made it 🙂 you kept singing and praising GOD until you made it home to your Heavenly Father , you finished the race 🙂 and you will keep reminding us of GOD’S GLORY and helping us to worship for many many years to come …. and hopefully will see you soon Reverend and dear Brother in the lord.
Wendy and Jeff thanks so much for posting this … I don’t think I have ever heard this recording. Not a song written by my Dad (Weeping Mary was an old hymn that dates back to the 1800’s) but one that he made his own and played a lot when I was younger. I can remember so many evenings in my parents living room when this type of thing would be going on for hours (usually way past my bed time!) I believe this was a group called the Lord’s Band that was made up of members of the Columbia Church. Dad on mandolin, James Peas on violin, and Chuck McMillin on guitar, both played often with Dad and can be heard singing backup vox along with my mom on this recording.
Beautiful! Thanks for sharing! Brother Lance was an inspiration to everyone that heard his music. We will always remember how he used his talents for God’s Glory! Only one Brother Lance…no one like him.
